Blue Lakes Vacation Rentals is a family-owned business that has been welcoming guests to Northern Michigan since 2003. We built our company on the idea of creating special places where guests can relax, escape the hustle and bustle, and truly enjoy the beauty of the place we call home.

Because we’re family-owned, we’ve always wanted our homes to be spaces the whole family can enjoy. Each property was carefully designed with something for everyone—whether it’s a Wooded Lodge, an Old Barn, a charming Schoolhouse, or a retro 1960s Surf Pad. Every home has its own personality, purposefully styled to reflect its surroundings.

We’re not just a summer operation. We work year-round—cleaning, painting, repairing, upgrading—because that’s what it takes to give our guests the best experience possible. If you see someone mowing the lawn, carrying a paintbrush, or pushing a wheelbarrow, there’s a good chance it’s one of us, working hard to make your stay even better.
